Scottish football returns from its summer break with the Alba Cup.

Scottish football for real starts today with the first round of the Alba Cup being played across the country. We hope to provide reports from a couple of games and we would be happy if anybody wanted to offer their views on the games they attend today. The draw was split on geographical lines and the first set of fixtures are shown below.
