Cowdenbeath gain a home tie with Dundee as reward for their win at Peterhead while Fife neighbours Dunfermline enjoy a second home draw.

Albion Rovers might not count themselves too lucky after their shock, dare we say giant-killing, win at Ayr on Saturday. It is a long trip north for a 2nd Round tie at Elgin for the Wee Rovers.

Stirling Albion v Stenhousemuir is a derby to be savoured while Dunfermline v QOS and last year's beaten finalists Ross County v Morton could be ties that go all the way in matches that are played to a finish on the day with extra time and penalty kicks coming into play if required. Partick Thistle head to Angus as reward for knocking out holders Airdrie Utd on Saturday in Lanarkshire.

The draw is as follows:-

Dunfermline Athletic v Queen of the South
Ross County v Morton
Stirling Albion v Stenhousemuir
Annan Athletic v East Stirlingshire
Forfar Athletic v Partick Thistle
Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Stranraer
Elgin City v Albion Rovers
Cowdenbeath v Dundee

Ties to be played Tue and Wed 18 and 19 Aug
