The cold wind of rejection could turn into something much worse come the new year for Ruben Palazuelos if he continues to use the media to get a game for Hearts.

"...but football is difficult and it's not possible for me to stay one year here and not play."
Hearts midfielder Ruben Palazuelos could be looking for a new club come January - and not of just of his own volition. He has warned manager Csaba Laszlo to play him more regularly or risk losing him. I don't know of many managers who appreciate being threatened especially in the public domain and Laszlo does not ggive the impression that he will be forced into picking anybody. The Spaniard has found first-team opportunities limited under the new boss after being a regular last season. Palazuelos, who played in 34 games last season, is contracted to Tynecastle until 2011 and says he is prepared to bide his time for now but will not stick around if he does not force his way into Laszlo's plans before the end of the year.

He said: "
I don't know how long I can wait. In football, anything is possible. I am very happy here and I want to stay, but football is difficult and it's not possible for me to stay one year here and not play. It's too early to speak about this now. Maybe after one month or two months more, we will speak about it. I don't know what will happen in one week or two weeks, maybe the situation will change and become better for me. In eight games, I have played almost nothing, only little bits. I'm finding it hard but this is a question for the manager. It's important for me to play in the team."
