C:WindowsTempphp167D.tmpBerwick Rangers have not let the grass grow under their feet when appointing a replacement for the recently sacked John Coughlin.  The club have appointed Robbie Horn as their new manager.  The former Hearts and Forfar Athletic defender was previously at Shielfield as both a player (for six years), winning the Division Three title in 2006/07, and assistant manager (for two).

He returns to Shielfield on a two-year deal after leaving Junior side Bonnyrigg Rose and his first game in charge will be against Queen of the South in the IRN-BRU Cup this weekend. Horn said this on leaving Bonnyrigg Rose:
"It's with a heavy heart that I have made the decision to move on to pastures new but I feel it's an opportunity at this stage I can't turn down. I have always said that I wanted a crack at senior football as a manager and looking at it in reality Berwick was probably the best chance I was ever going to get with the affiliation I have with the club. I'm ambitious and determined to prove I can manage at a higher level."
