The draw for the preliminary round of the 2014/15 William Hill Scottish Cup took place at Commonwealth House, Glasgow, this morning. Eight ties were drawn, and six teams received byes in to the first round.
In the build-up to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, SFA Chief Executive, Stewart Regan, was joined by Glasgow 2014 Chief Executive, David Grevemberg, and William Hill Area Operations Manager, Eddie Thompson to conduct the draw.

2. Auchinleck Talbot v St. Cuthbert Wanderers
3. Hurlford United v Edinburgh University
4. Glasgow University v Cove Rangers
5. Vale of Leithen v Gala Fairydean Rovers
